Chris Robinson The comment above me sounds familiar, Pamela Gay posted about getting a threatening message of a similar vein earlier – I think this is an elaborate phishing attack. Scary stuff, I thought G+ was free of this nonsense.

Maybe leave it up, so that people see that you had one of them too? When you first see it and you don’t realize that it’s fake, it’s easy to get scared. Seeing it on someone else’s profile helps confirm that it’s an obvious phishing attack, just those generic Craigslist adverts!

Yup – see it. Same as I got. As pointed out elsewhere, this isn’t so much a phishing attack as griefing or otherwise just malicious cruelty.
